Pola Beinstock (Arbiser) (middle) and her brother, Ludwik Bienstock (left on bike), with Franciszka (Frania) Sobkowa. Franciszka Sobkowa was the children's nanny and she saved the lives of Pola, her sister, Irene, and their mother, Sara, during the war by hiding them in her small apartment.
