Milton Deitch was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended McCallee School (a private military school) in Chattanooga, then attended Princeton University and Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he got his medical degree, specializing in urology. He and his wife Sara came to Atlanta where he worked at Grady Memorial Hospital and the VA Hospital and then went into private practice with Dr. Harold Adair until his retirement in 1999. Milton speaks of his childhood in Chattanooga, the McCallee School, his university education and medical training, his career as a doctor, his marriage and children and his role in the founding and growth of Temple Sinai in Atlanta, Georgia.
