The Tuesday Afternoon Club was founded in 1887 by a small group of German-Jewish women with the purpose of meeting once a week to socialize and to contribute their dues to charity. The membership was limited to 12, and they were especially involved with the Hebrew Orphans' Home. The collection consists of a history written in 1914.
