Sylvia Goldstein Breman was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She married M. William Breman and moved to Atlanta in 1936. She was active in many Jewish organizations in Atlanta including the Cause and Cure of War Conference, 1938; Georgia Radio Reading Service for the Blind; National Council of Jewish Women; the Temple; and the William Breman Jewish Home.
