Cohen Ned OHC.JPG

Ned Cohen was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was president of Congregation Or VeShalom in the 1940s, which was a period of growth for the entire Jewish community in Atlanta, but especially for the Sephardic community. He discusses the interactions between the differing Jewish cultures in Atlanta. Ned Cohen recalls family life during the Depression of 1929 and his public service career which interfaced with the growth of Jewish community agencies and important secular and religious leaders in Atlanta.
