Joseph F. Haas was an Atlanta attorney whose father, Herbert, was defense counsel for Leo M. Frank. Joseph F. Haas was active throughout the Civil Rights era and retained his membership in the Southern Regional Conference until his death in 2000. The collection consists of photocopies of correspondence between Herbert Haas and Leo and Lucille Frank, original correspondence of Joseph F. Haas regarding the Frank case, and court documents. The collection is arranged in chronological order.
