Eleanora Cadranel Galanti was born in Bodrum, Turkey in 1910. At the age of 15 she moved to the island of Rhodes to take advantage of a better education. She was married in 1929 to Nace Galanti and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She was an active volunteer for Congregation Or VeShalom and Hadassah.
