Max C. (Mike) Gettinger forged a prestigious life-long career in Jewish social services in both the United States and Israel. He became the executive director of the Atlanta Jewish Federation in 1962, a post he kept until 1982. Mike Gettinger recalls twenty years of a Jewish community organization during years of momentous change.
