Sam Arbiser is standing in front of the ruins of the Technical High School on Grzybowska Street in the remnants of the Warsaw ghetto. Sam lost his entire family except for his brother to the death camp at Treblinka. Sam and his brother, Nathan, survived because they fled to Siberia before Warsaw's ghetto was enclosed.
