Joseph V. Freitag was an Atlanta businessman and founder of Joseph V. Freitag Advertising in 1928, the first ad agency in Atlanta. His wife Esther and his daughter Sonia participated in numerous social and civic events and organizations. The collection consists of an invitations from the Top Hat Club and the Sigma Theta Pi Sorority, correspondence regarding volunteer work for Lawson General Hospital and the American Red Cross by Esther Freitag, Ballyhoo memorabilia, the State of City address by Mayor Sam Massell, and a menu from the Standard Club. Arranged in chronological order.
