Blass Saul OHC.JPG

Saul Blass was born in Atlanta although his parents, Celia and Moses Blauskopsky, were born in Bialystok, Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1904. Saul married Beatrice "Bea" Reisman and they had two children. Saul spent 25 years in the grocery business and then in the furniture manufacturing trade. Saul recalls his youth in the Jewish community, his education, the businesses, synagogues, neighborhoods, schools, and youth clubs of the Atlanta Jewish community before and after World War II.
