Janet Selig was a member of theTemple and a young socialite within the German Jewish community of Atlanta. The collection consists of a scrapbook compiled by Janet Selig beginning in 1914. Some of the material dates from an earlier time period including a Confederate bank note from 1864. Of special interest are the invitations from the Standard Club, and a ticket to the 'Birth of the Nation,' shown in Atlanta in 1915. Original order of the scrapbook maintained. Loose items removed and kept in original order.
