Cohn Aaron OHC.JPG

Aaron Cohn was born in Columbus, Georgia. His father was in the livestock trade and he grew up on a farm next to Fort Benning. He attended University of Georgia's law school and then entered the Army under General Patton where he distinguished himself in World War II, including at the Battle of the Bulge and as a liberator of Ebensee concentration camp. He returned to Georgia and became a lawyer and then a well-respected judge and retired around the age of 90. He discusses his childhood, family, antisemitism and the end of segregation in the south as well as his war time experiences.
