County-Unit System
Georgia

This was a method of calculating electoral votes. But it was very lopsided: a county with 800 people would get to 2 votes and and city like Columbus, which had 80,000 would get the same - somehow. Anyway, Morris Abrams fought it, took it to the United States Supreme Court, and got it overturned so the whole system was worked out more equitably.
